The beautiful Lady Musgrave Island and lagoon right on the Great Barrier Reef is ... the Eco Adventure destination of the South Pacific for Scuba divers.

Lady Musgrave Island is part of the Bunker group of islands, a true coral cay and surrounded by 1192 hectares of spectacular reef. It has the largest navigable lagoon on the entire Great Barrier Reef.

With only limited visitations, its corals and reefs remain pristine, and coupled with exceptional water clarity, abundant fish life (including Manta Rays) and its temperate waters, it is one of the great dive destinations on the reef.

Lady Musgrave Island Dive Tours have operated its Live aboard Dive Ship the MV Venus II in these waters for the past 4 years, providing levels of luxury not normally found, including:

·        Small numbers with a maximum of 13 passengers

·        Certified Divers and Snorkelers only (no students)

·        4 separate passenger cabins in different configurations

·        Full ensuite facilities in each cabin

·        All meals and Drinks inclusive   (Alcohol and Soft Drinks are extra)

As with all ocean diving, the choice of location is dependent upon tides, currents, and weather conditions, and may be subject to alteration.

However, you are still assured of a trip to the Southern Great Barrier Reef where it truly is….as good as it gets!!

The Vessel
The MV Venus II is a superb ocean-going vessel, in full survey conducted by the Queensland Harbours and Marine Department. She  is fitted with twin 127hp Gardener diesel engines, and with a range of 5,000 miles (8,000 km), has travelled extensively around the South Pacific.

RATES;

The Tour costs $678.00 per person (includes Reef Tax) and is inclusive of all accommodation and meals with 10 day dives offered.

Night Dives are also available each day at a cost of $10.00 per dive plus an additional $5.00 if torch hire is required.
