Soft coral located in woongara marine park Beautiful coral reefs are only metres from the shore, with a variety of staghorn, plate and brain corals. There is also a rich array of soft corals, gorgonians, sea whips, anemones and sponges. Many Species of nudibranches and cowries are found on these reefs as well as the elegant Spanish dancer. 

 

Baby turtles hatchingAustralia's largest mainland turtle rookery is on Bundaberg's coastline giving divers a great chance to see turtles on the shore dive. There are turtles all year round with turtles laying eggs from November with the baby turtles hatching from late December to January.
